  • PHASE III ~ Remediation of Environmental Hazards, (Site cleanup, environmental hazard removal, site closure)

* The ASTM, formerly known as the American Society of Testing & Materials and now the Environmental Assessment Association, (EAA), is a national standards-setting organization established in the turn of the century to standardize commercial and industrial practices for business.  In 1993, the ASTM committee E50.02 published environmental due diligence standards for commercial real estate transactions called the Transaction Screen Process and Phase I Environmental Site Assessment.
