Confined Space Standards

Teams of First Strike Environmental trainers and qualified workers have been responding to our clients need for confined space assessment and training for more than twenty years. Even prior to OSHA/OR-OSHA's adoption of the revised “Permit-Required Confined Space Standard” in 1993, First Strike was providing experienced crews for confined space entry/operations, standby, and rescue situations.  Since then, both client demand and First Strike’s capacity to respond have taken considerable strides.  Before and after the adoption of the revised OSHA standard in February 1999, First Strike retains its position as a premier provider of confined space services.

Confined Space Entry/Operations

First Strike’s confined space supervisors, entrants and attendants have undergone rigorous training and are experienced in all aspects of confined space entry. First Strike personnel have devised operating procedures and performed underground vault entry work for clients throughout the northwest, employing the latest technology in air monitoring and ventilation, tripods, harnesses, breathing apparatus, and personal protective equipment.  "Safety First" is our credo.

  
  Confined Space Standby/Rescue  

“Confined Space” OSHA Standard 1910.146 requires a rescue agency to respond with experienced, qualified personnel in a timely manner.  When a permit-required entry is called for, First Strike’s Confined Space Team is on mandated standby for all your confined space entry problems.  Think of First Strike first.
