FIRST STRIKE ENVIRONMENTAL, founded in 1987, is a multifaceted firm providing a full range of environmental services. Initially engaged primarily in 24-hour emergency response to oil, diesel, and hazardous substance spills, First Strike grew as a company to meet ever-increasing environmental needs. |

In addition to emergency spill response and remediation, First Strike teams work on long-term ground water monitoring and remediation projects, Underground Storage Tank (UST) decommissionings, confined-space entry and underground vault maintenance projects, illegal drug lab decontamination projects, and all phases of environmental site assessment and remediation, including hazardous material removal, transportation, and disposal. First Strike crews also handle both hazardous and non-hazardous storm-related and other restoration work. Additionally, First Strike provides certified hazardous materials training and is a supplier of high-quality absorbent products, including pads, booms, and particulates for spill containment. |

In light of our nation's heightened alert to incidents of bio-terrorism, First Strike has updated and recodified its protocals and standard operating procedures, for bio-hazard responses. We have provided additional training for our employees in the latest EPA approved, Sandia National Laboratories decontamination formulas. When First Strike has been called out for clean-up of suspected bio-hazard agents, such as anthrax, we have successfully completed decontamination of the premises without injury to the public. |
